Our Story
Started in a van, built on reputation
Vincent started Hurrell Building Maintenance in 2015 after years working for other firms and seeing the same complaints from homeowners: tradespeople who don't turn up, quotes that change halfway through, and nobody taking responsibility when things go wrong.
He set up on his own with a straightforward approach: answer the phone, give a fixed quote, do the work properly, and clean up when you're done. That approach hasn't changed.
What has changed is the range of work we take on. We started with maintenance and repairs, then added kitchens, bathrooms and carpentry. Now we handle everything from extensions and loft conversions to full house renovations and structural alterations. One team, every trade, still run by Vincent.

Vincent Hurrell starts Hurrell Building Maintenance from Hanworth, focusing on property maintenance and small repairs across Hounslow and Richmond.
Expanded into kitchen and bathroom fitting, carpentry and decorating. First repeat commercial client.
Grew the team through lockdown with demand for home improvements, loft conversions and garden projects.
Took on extensions, structural alterations and full house renovations. Expanded service area to Kingston, Spelthorne and Surrey borders.
